UNICUS* scraped surface heat exchanger, has been developed specially for processed food industry for heating and cooling high viscosity products, chilling, pasteurising, evaporation and high fouling applications. UNICUS* is a dynamic heat exchanger with a unique scraping mechanism action which optimizes the heat exchange area by increasing the heat transfer coefficient with: An increase in turbulence even at low velocity Reduction in film resistance Reduction in fouling due to unique scraping elements.
