GEARENCH™ was founded in Houston, Texas in ***7 with the patent of its first product, the Gearench, a hand tool for use on small diameter pipe. From this original tool, the company has grown and developed over *0 product lines for use in various areas of the oil industry including exploration, drilling, production, refining and completion. Tools have also been developed for water well and trenchless technology drilling, as well as mining, power generation utilities, and general industrial markets.
The PETOL™ TUBE HANDLE WRENCH is a **-point offset box end wrench that can be used with or without a detachable tube handle. The tube handle provides additional torque when tightening or breaking loose nuts. Handles are held in place with a spring-loaded locking .

 
The PETOL™ FLANGE LIFTER provides a safe and easy method of installing and removing blind and weld neck flanges. By eliminating the need to attach a lifting eye to the flange, the tool is both time and cost effective. Each flange lifter is load tested and magnetic particle inspected to ensure safety and quality.

The PETOL™TONG JACK is a portable, pneumatic powered machine designed for use on threaded material having multiple make-up or break-out points. In addition, the use of cheaters or overhead hoists is eliminated when working connections that cannot be made up or broken out by hand.
The unit is suitable for use with a wide variety of PETOL Tongs to meet specific torque, diameter, and gripping width requirements and is capable of producing up to 3,**0 lbs. of force. The Tong Jack includes a gauge that reads out in PSI and a chart to convert to pounds of force. The torque being applied depends on the torque arm length of the tong being used.
Selected tongs are held in place with a quick release pin making change out easy. Linkage and release pins are adaptable for both clevis and loop-style handles.

PETOL™ SLIM GRIP TONGS are designed to meet the need when a pipe wrench with a torque rating is required to make up and break out connections having narrow gripping areas. The tongs are self-adjusting and ratchet easily. Simply stab the tongs onto the workpiece and youre ready to go.
 
The PETOL™ BELT TONG™ strap wrench utilizes a lightweight composite strap to provide features that are truly amazing. The strap is actually stronger than chain - and you dont have to worry about rust or corrosion. While torque will vary according to diameter, it can deliver up to **7,**0 ft.-lbs. of torque. (See Torque Tables on this page andProduct Bulletin for details.) One of the most important features of the strap is that it will not come apart, even when its broken. Although all tools are safe when used properly, this feature offers added safety in that there are no flying parts if the BELT TONG strap wrench is over-torqued.
The BELT TONG strap wrench is available in six sizes with composite straps to accommodate pipe sizes from 6" to *2" O.D.
The PETOL BELT TONG strap wrench is extremely easy to use. The lightweight strap, an adjustable hanger that keeps the wrench in perfect balance for easy application and ratcheting, and a pin that quickly latches and unlatches the strap, combine to make operating the wrench a snap. In fact, its so easy only two rig personnel are required.
Each BELT TONG strap wrench comes equipped with two PETOL Diamond Point Inserts which can be quickly changed out when necessary. The SCT***0, SCT***0H, SCT***8 and SCT***6 can be adjusted to grip the main body of the pipe or the pipe upset as needed.
Prior to shipment, every BELT TONG strap wrench is magnetic particle inspected, load tested, and magnetic particle inspected again.
