A high voltage circuit breaker (Voltage generally is over 3 KV) is one of the main electric power control appliances in power plants and transformation substations. In case of emergency it is capable of immediately breaking emergency current with the help of relay protection to prevent from extension of emergency range. On different arc extinguish chamber the high voltage circuit breaker is classified as oil circuit breaker, air circuit breaker, SF6 circuit breaker and vacuum circuit breaker.
