الوصف

A J Services supply flexible ducting which can be used for the supply and extraction of air in HVAC systems. Flexible ducts are typically tube-shaped, made of a wire coil covered with a bendable, durable plastic, and surrounded by insulation. This kind of ducting is best in tricky spaces where rigid ducts are just not possible to install, or used to attach non-flexible ductwork to an air supply outlet. Flex is able to withstand both low and high temperatures ranging from **0ºC to ***0ºC. Whilst being manufactured flex is produced in extremely malleable materials, this can be bent into shape easily which means it is an excellent alternative to rigid ducting where it is not a feasible solution.

AJS supply 5 styles: Aluminium, Inaflex, Grey Flexible, Acoustic, Semi Rigid.

Aluminium flexible duct, the flex duct has been designed to offer a quick and easy solution for connecting both circular and oval ducting systems to one another within the HVAC industries, made from aluminium and reinforced with polyester. The flexible duct is able to handle a maximum air velocity of *0m/second, with temperatures ranging from **0 °c up to **0°c.

Inaflex from AJS is an insulated aluminium flexible ducting has been designed to be used in HVAC industry which has been developed to minimise both heat gain and loss because of differences in temperatures between airflow and the surrounding air by creating a vapour barrier which prevents the build up of condensation on the outer duct. The Inaflex is supplied with *5mm or *0mm fiberglass, it is provided in *0m lengths this can be cut to desired lengths when requested with diameters of *0mm up to a maximum of **0mm and offers a simpler solution of connecting circular and oval ducting.

Grey PVC flexible duct, produced in 6 meter lengths with diameters ranging from *0mm up to **0mm the PVC flexible duct offers an easy solution for connecting two separate circular/oval duct ventilation systems to one another. With a double laminate outer casing to reinforce, the duct can withstand air velocity of *0m/sec and both high and low temperatures - between **0°C and *0°C degrees safely.

Acoustic flexible ducting is produced in *0m lengths with diameters ranging from **0mm to **0mm, the acoustic flexible ducting is fire tested to ensure maximum safety. With a temperature range of **0°C to **0 °C degrees Celsius the acoustic flexible duct can accommodate a maximum air velocity of *0m/s and options for fibreglass insulation of either *5mm or *0mm are available. The Acouflex offers a fully flexible thermally and acoustic insulated ducting, which has been designed for the HVAC industry to reduce both cross talk and any additional noise created by in-duct components.

Semi Flexible rigid spiral/circular tube duct, is supplied in 3 meter lengths however if instructed it can be cut to the needed length and is produced in *8 different diameters from *0mm up to ***0mm. The rigid ducts are HVAC DW**4 compliant and as standard are manufactured in galvanised steel, although both stainless steel and aluminium options are available - all of which are 1.6mm thick. The rigid duct is suitable for a wide range of uses in both commercial and domestic.

As is common with most components which make up HVAC systems, flexible ducts also have specific installation requirements. One such requirement is that the flexible ductwork is fully secured and supported correctly, this will keep sagging or snaking to a minimum. Kinks, bends, as well as turns should also attempted to be kept to a minimum as any of these will reduce air flow - which will mean the system is less efficient and the effectiveness of the air conditioner will decrease.
