Precision Ejector Pins for Plastic Mold Components:   

 

Ejector pins belong to plastic mold parts, used for plastic molds.

 

Ejector pin also called pushrod, insert pin, needle, holder needle etc., sometimes ejector top used for lathe also called ejector pin. 

 

Ejector pin use:

 

1. In plastic mold, separate products from mold, it is the most common use;

2. Hard alloy ejector pin such as tungsten ejector pin etc., it can use to pass a long thin hole;

3. Ejector pin is also called ejector top when it is assembled on lather or grinding machine, used to support the workpiece and make the workpiece revolve round its conical metal rod which keeping rotate, but it is totally not the same thing with ejector pin of plastic mold parts.

4. Plastic mold ejector pin can also be used inside mold, it can play a strong role, called insert pin.

Types of plastic mold ejector pin: blade ejector pin, round ejector pin, holder needle, standard ejector pin, non-standard ejector pin, etc.

Material for plastic mold ejector pin: SKH*1, SKD*1, SKD*1, *5Mn etc.

 

 

Toughness for SKH*1 ejector pin is better than SKD*1; SKD*1 ejector pin can be resistant ***0 ℃ high temperature, can greatly improve wear resistance of SKD *1 ejector pin after surface nitriding treatment, *5Mn ejector pin is not be used by most of plastic molds because of its poor quality, material is a little brittle and easily broken.
