Thethevaporrecoverybreakaway is a kind of reusable safety device which is installed between the fuel nozzle and vapor recovery hose. In case the vehicledrives away abruptly whilebeing refueled, the breakaway valve will disconnect to seal up the oil circuit in order to protect the fuel dispenser, hose components and the vehicle. It is attractive in appearance and compact in size.
In thevaporrecoverybreakaway, the breakaway are connected up by rings inside the inner joint and outer joint . Inside the center joint, there is the gas pipeline; while outside the center joint, there is the oil pipeline. When excessive forces are imposed on the valve, the point where inner joint and outer joint connect will disconnect, and the inner joint will become self-sealed, so as to prevent fuel leakage and avoid danger. The breakawaycoupler, after being pulled open, can still be used repeatedly instead of being replaced, thus reducing cost
