PTFE packing is a pure PTFE fiber yarn braided into square cross
section. High cross-sectional density and structural strength. Low
confident of friction result in easy shaft running. And "Black
Teflon" can be used at dynamic sealing location under with
pressure. PTFE packing can be used in general sealing performance.
It is designed for all the chemical compounds (excepting cast
alkaline metals and the gaseous fluorine), alternative and rotary
motions shafts operating at low peripheral speed, rod, pistons,
valves steams, expansion joints, however high purity and corrosion
resistance is required, such as food industries, pharmaceutical
factories, paper mills and chemical fiber plants etc.
They are universal packings suitable for valves, pumps and
agitators in most mediums.
BKP***1A Pure PTFE packing
It is braided from raw fibers of pure PTFE dispersion resins
without adding any lubrication.
It is soft, mainly used in static sealing application.
BKP***1b Pure PTFE packing with oil
It is treated with special silicon lubrication. Main designed for
dynamic sealing application.
