Trench cover is applied on walkway, carriageway, courtyard etc; used as cover for drainage trench, wire ditch, subway, and air pit, hot-dip-galvanizing finish is used as antiseptic. Grating trench cover is composed of fixed frame & movable grating. It can be classified to Type T, U and M according to structures.

2.Material: JGxxx/*0/**0
3.Surface treatment: Hot-dip galvanizing, paint or other anti-corrosive coatings.

Specifications of Road Drainage Grate:
1. Type: standard type of GT, GU, GM, etc.
2. Material: GB*******6, ASTM(A*6), BS***0(*3A)
3. Surface treatment: Hot-dip galvanizing, painted or other anti-corrosive coatings
4. Standard: YB/T***1.*****7, ANSI/NAAMM, BS***2, AS***7

Features of Road Drainage Grate:
- Extended life from hot dip galvanizing
- High hydraulic efficiencies due to maximum waterway created by narrow load bars.
- Secure anchoring of frame in concrete from out turned frame angles and deformed steel rod anchors
- Safe installation arising from low frame and grating weights. 
- Safe opening and closing due to low weights and the availability of grating hinging. 

Type U
Regarding most concrete groove without edge, it would be very simple and economical to use Type U trench cover for there is no special requirement to groove edge. It’s suggested that angle steel should be filled in upper edge. If the loads are T*6 and T**4. The U trench prefab blocks are also available to prevent dirty water to leak in to earth.

Type M
Type M Trench cover is usually used the grating with *0mm cross bar pitch to enhance the impact resistance.

Type T
Type T Trench cover is suitable for all other roads except for highway roads, which are not crowded. Screw fixing is recommended to avoid danger. This kind of trench cover is used on T shape ditch, with angle steel searing frame. For the trench covers used in public places, the grating with *0 mm cross bar pitch is recommended. Serrated type and I bar shape grating is available according to customer requests.

SMC Products are packed and labeled according to the regulations and customer’s requests. Great care is taken to avoid any damage which might be caused during storage or transportation. In addition, clear labels are tagged on the outside of the packages for easy identification of the product I.D. and quality information. Steel graitng product can be packed in wooden case or fixed by flat steel strip.
