The ultrasonic level meter is a high-technology product which integrates ultrasound, electron and software. It is developed by our company independently, and is the preferred instrument for various industrial site measurements for liquid level and material level. All indexes of the ultrasonic level meter have reached international advanced level of like products and can substitute the imported ultrasonic level meter. DF-6221 Ultrasonic Level Meter consists of ultrasonic transmitting and receiving units, CPU control unit, man-machine interface, ultrasonic transducer and other components.

Principle:

In the process of level measurement, the ultrasonic probe emits an ultrasonic signal which will be reflected when it reaches either liquid or solid material surface, and is then received by the same probe. It measures the entire runtime of the ultrasonic, thus, the level measurement is realized. The relationships between sound wave transmission distance, sound velocity and sound transmission time will be expressed by the following formula:

L: The distance between ultrasonic probe and the measured material surface. Unit: m;
V: Sound velocity value after temperature compensation. Unit: m/s;
T: Sound wave runtime within measurement range. Unit: s.

Application:

Liquid and material level measurement is a familiar problem in the industry,and ultrasonic level measurement technology has many merits：It implements fixed and continuous level measurement, and provides remote measurement or a remote measurement signal. Compared with radioactive level measurement, ultrasonic technology does not need defending. It is simpler and more economical than laser distance measurement, and also it is convenient to install and maintain because there is no movement component for ultrasonic technology. The ultrasonic level meter can be widely used in petroleum, mining, power stations, chemical plants, water treatment plants, sewage treatment stations, agricultural water, environmental monitoring, food (wine industries, beverages, additives, edible oils, and milk products), flood prevention, hydrological monitoring, open channels, space orientation, etc.
