The gantry crane bridge is a boom crane supported on the ground track or foundation by the legs on both sides. It runs along the ground track and can pass railway vehicles or other ground vehicles below. A boom crane with a rotatable lifting device installed on the gantry frame. The four legs of the gantry frame form four "doorways" for railway vehicles and other vehicles to pass through. Most gantry cranes run along the crane track on the ground or on buildings to carry out lifting and loading and unloading operations. A crane with a ""-shaped gantry is called a semi-gantry crane, one side of its running track is set on the ground, and the other side is set on a building above the ground.
Product composition:
Gantry cranes have lifting, slewing, luffing and running mechanisms. The first three mechanisms are installed on the rotating part and participate in the operation in each cycle. The rotating part is also equipped with a tilting single arm or combined arm and a driver's cab that can pitch. The operating mechanism is installed at the bottom of the portal to adjust the working position of the crane. The portal crane with bucket (Figure 2 [portal crane with bucket]) is also equipped with additional equipment such as telescopic funnel and belt conveyor to improve the productivity of the portal crane when loading and unloading bulk materials with a grab bucket. In addition to the electrical protection device, it is also equipped with safety devices such as lifting weight or lifting torque limiter and crane rail clamp.
