The PyroEpsilon Series is a range of highquality, low cost, compact sensors whichmeasure the temperature of inaccessibleor moving objects and materials. Theymeasure temperatures from **0°C to**0°C, accurately and consistently, with anoutstanding response time of **0 ms.PyroEpsilon sensors transmit the targettemperature as a ***0 mA output and offera simple solution for most non-contacttemperature measurement applications.The sensors emissivity setting can beadjusted from 0.2 to 1.0 to cope withdifferent target materials and is controlledby a ***0 mA . This gives theopportunity to adjust the emissivity settingautomatically from a programmable logiccontroller (PLC). Alternatively the emissivitysetting can be adjusted manually using theoptional PyroTune module. If the ***0 mA is left open or short-circuit the emissivitysetting defaults to 0.*5.

All PyroEpsilon sensors are fitted withprecision Germanium lenses for accurateoptics. Model PE*1 has 2:1 optics makingit suitable for most applications where thesensor can be mounted close to the target.Model PE**1 is designed for small ordistant targets and has an optical resolutionof *5:1. Model PE**1 is designed for verysmall or distant targets and has an opticalresolution of *0:1. Model PECF is designedfor targets as small as ø5 mm at a distanceof **0 mm from the sensor.
