The chute feeder is also called compound feeder and wabble feeder. It is an earlier feeding equipment and have many forms, but the common is that there is a transfer flashboard to control the height of bed material. Above the feed delivery chute there is a feed delivery plate which is removable, and the difference is their angles. The structure of chute feeder concludes fan-shaped transfer flashboard, feed delivery chute plate, feed plate, idler wheel, crank connecting rod and driving device.

The chute feeder is used for short distance transportation of metal and non-metal. It is widely applied into some industries such as metallurgy, chemical industry, coal, mine and water resource and hydropower engineering.
