The electrical circuit in the protected area and that in the non-protected area are separated by the three phase isolation transformer. All the charged conductors in the protected area are isolated from earth to prevent the dangerous current on the insulation layer of circuit causing micro electric chocks and provide a safety and reliable power supply for the medical appliances within the area. So far, three phase isolation transformer has been used in nuclear magnetic resonance imaging equipment, spiral CT equipment, X ray machine, and other medical equipment.
